How much do shelves cost in Dubai?
As a guide from our recent work, shelving jobs typically run AED 500–2,650, with the median around AED 1,500. I need a shelf trimmed so my fridge fits — can you do that?
Yes, and it's one of the most common jobs we get. A new appliance that's slightly too tall or wide almost never needs a new unit — we trim, re-drill and refit so it slots in cleanly.
Can you add one extra shelf inside my cupboard?
Yes. Adding a layer inside an existing cabinet, wardrobe or kitchen unit is a quick, small job. Send a photo with the internal measurement and we'll price it.
Can you match the wood to my existing furniture?
We match colour, grain and finish as closely as we can. Send a photo of what it's going next to and we'll advise honestly on how close a match is possible.
Will floating shelves hold real weight?
Yes — when they're fixed properly. Most floating shelves that sag were fitted with the wrong anchors for the wall. We use fixings suited to the wall type and tell you what the shelf will safely carry.
Can you build storage into an awkward space?
That's most of what we do — laundry niches, under-stair voids, sloped corners and odd alcoves. We measure on site for anything larger and build to the exact opening.
Do you supply the wood or do I?
Either. We usually supply, and we'll talk you through MDF, plywood, solid wood and veneer since material is what moves the price most. If you'd rather supply your own, that's fine.
How long does it take?
Small installs are often same-week. Built-in storage typically takes 1–2 weeks depending on size and finish.
