Questions

Custom Kitchen Design in Dubai — your questions answered

How much does a custom kitchen cost in Dubai?

Kitchen projects range widely — indicatively AED 1,225–11,700, with the median around AED 4,500, and larger villa kitchens above that. Material quality is the biggest factor. The design consultation and site visit are 100% free before you commit. See our full price guide.

Do I need a new kitchen, or can mine be saved?

Ask us honestly and the answer is often no. If your carcasses are sound, changing the doors gives most of the visual change for a fraction of the cost. We only recommend a full design when the layout itself is wrong or the units have failed.

Do you design as well as build?

Yes — the same team designs, builds and fits. There's no handover gap where the design turns out not to be buildable, and one person is accountable from measure to handover.

How long does a custom kitchen take?

Typically 3–6 weeks from approved design to fitted, depending on size, material and worktop lead times. We confirm the timeline with the quote.

What hardware do you use?

Blum and Hettich soft-close hinges and runners as standard. We'll show you the options rather than hiding the spec.

Can you build around my existing appliances?

Yes — we measure your actual appliances and build the housings to suit. It's the detail that most commonly goes wrong when a kitchen is ordered from a catalogue.

Do you handle the worktop too?

We coordinate the worktop template and installation alongside our cabinetry so the two actually meet properly.

Is the design consultation really free?

Yes — 100% free, on site, with no obligation. Kitchens can't be quoted accurately from a photo.

Custom Kitchen Design Dubai

A kitchen designed around your room, not a catalogue

Most kitchens in Dubai are sold before they're designed: a layout is picked from a brochure, then the room is made to accept it. Custom kitchen design works the other way round — the room, your appliances and the way you actually cook come first, and the cabinetry is built to suit.

We design, build and fit custom kitchens in Dubai: full layouts, kitchen islands and breakfast bars, tall larder and appliance units, handleless and modern finishes, integrated appliance housings, coordinated worktops, and lighting and power planned into the design rather than added afterwards. Blum and Hettich hardware as standard, in the material and finish you choose.

One honest note before you start: a full custom kitchen isn't always the right answer. If your existing carcasses are sound, kitchen cabinet refacing and repair costs a fraction and delivers most of the visual change. We'll tell you which route your kitchen actually needs at the free consultation — and if it's the cheaper one, we'll say so.
