Questions

Painting & Polishing in Dubai — your questions answered

How much does furniture polishing cost in Dubai?

Polishing and refinishing typically runs AED 600–4,500 as a guide, depending on the size of the piece, its condition and the finish. A single small item is often a fixed-price job. Send a photo on WhatsApp for a price. See our full price guide.

Can you re-polish it exactly as it was?

Usually very close. A perfect match depends on the original finish and how faded the piece is — we'll tell you honestly what's achievable before we start rather than promising and disappointing.

Do you work in my home or take the furniture away?

Most work is done in your home with dust sheets and minimal mess. Larger or heavily damaged pieces sometimes need to come to the workshop — we'll say which at the quote.

Is polishing cheaper than buying new?

Almost always, and it's the whole reason people call us. Restoring a solid wood piece typically costs far less than replacing it with something of the same quality.

Can you change the colour of my furniture?

Yes. A full repaint or re-stain can take a dated piece to any colour you want — one of the most cost-effective changes you can make to a room.

Can you fix sun-faded wood?

Yes. Dubai sunlight bleaches timber unevenly. We sand back and re-finish to even out the colour across the piece.

Do you refinish kitchen and wardrobe doors?

Yes — refinishing fronts is often an alternative to replacing them. For a full door change see kitchen cabinets or wardrobes.

How long does it take?

Small pieces are often done in a day. Larger items or full colour changes need drying time between coats — typically 2–4 days.

Painting & Polishing Dubai

Restoring furniture is the cheapest upgrade in your home

Dubai is hard on timber. Sunlight bleaches it, air-conditioning dries it, and humidity swells it — so furniture that looked good three years ago can look tired now without anything actually being broken. Replacing it is the expensive answer. Refinishing it is usually the right one.

We handle furniture polishing in Dubai and full furniture painting: re-polishing and restoring tables, chairs, beds, dressers and sideboards; complete colour changes in paint or stain; scratch, dent and water-mark repair; evening out sun-faded timber; refinishing internal doors, frames and skirting; and re-finishing kitchen and wardrobe fronts as an alternative to replacing them. Lacquer, PU, stain and matt finishes — whichever genuinely suits the piece.

Most work happens in your home with dust sheets down and minimal disruption. If a piece is structurally damaged as well as tired, we can repair it first — see custom furniture and repairs. Send a photo on WhatsApp and we'll tell you honestly whether it's worth restoring.
