How much does floor carpentry cost in Dubai?
Flooring jobs typically run AED 712–4,750 as a guide, depending on area, material and pattern. Herringbone and parquet cost more to lay than straight planks because of the setting-out. We measure on site free before quoting. See our full price guide.
Can you fit flooring I've already bought?
Yes — plenty of customers buy their own material and just need it laid properly. We'll tell you before we start if what you've bought is suitable for the room.
Do you lay herringbone and parquet?
Yes. Pattern floors live or die on the setting-out — get the centre line wrong and every row after it is wrong. It's slower work than straight planks, and priced accordingly.
Can you repair part of a floor instead of replacing it?
Often yes. Damaged, lifting or water-affected boards can usually be replaced individually. Matching an older floor exactly isn't always possible — we'll be straight with you about the likely colour difference.
Is wood decking a bad idea in Dubai?
Not if the right timber and fixings are used. The wrong choice will grey, warp and split within a season. We'll talk you through timber versus composite honestly for your balcony.
Can you match my existing skirting?
Usually. Send a photo of the profile end-on and we'll tell you whether we can match it or need to replace the run.
Do you fix squeaking or loose floors?
Yes — noise and movement usually come from the subfloor, not the boards, and can often be fixed without relaying the floor.
How long does a floor take?
A typical room is 1–2 days. Herringbone and larger areas take longer. We confirm with the quote after measuring.
